Clear policies ensuring the platform remains a trustworthy, secure, and valuable resource for the EGS community.
Last Updated: January 2026
All project content submitted to this platform belongs exclusively to the student(s) who created it. The platform maintains display rights only for the purpose of showcasing projects within the EGS and Ecotivista community, following Ecotivista's Terms of Service "7. User Content".
Students retain full control over their submissions and may update project information at any time. No content is used for commercial purposes without explicit written consent from the content creators.
Platform access is restricted to verified members of the Tecnológico de Monterrey community. Registration requires authentication through institutional credentials, and only verified EGS students may submit and manage projects.
Role-based permissions protect sensitive actions. Project owners have full control over their submissions, while team members have limited editing capabilities as defined by the project owner.
Projects are published immediately upon submission without an approval workflow. Project owners are responsible for ensuring their content is accurate, appropriate, and does not violate any intellectual property rights.
Projects may be edited at any time but cannot be deleted by users. Status options include active, inactive, or archived. Permanent deletion requires a formal request to platform administration.
We implement industry-standard security measures including row-level database security, encrypted data transmission, and secure authentication protocols. Personal information is used only for platform functionality.
Email addresses and contact information are protected and only visible to authenticated users when project owners have explicitly enabled collaboration features. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties.
Projects are designed to serve as permanent institutional records. However, if you require removal of a project for legitimate reasons, please submit a formal request to our administrators.
Requests should be sent to support@ecotivista.com and must include your full name, project title, and detailed reason for removal. All requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
