Ecotivista | La Casa del Periodismo y Activismo Independiente
At Ecotivista, we believe in the power of youth to transform reality. Our purpose is to inform, raise awareness, and connect young people with social issues from an environmental perspective, to develop leaders and communities capable of turning information into collective action. Our mission is to mobilize, inspire, and support students and young people through independent journalism and activism with an environmental focus, creating safe spaces for dialogue and tools that transform ideas into projects with social and environmental impact. Our vision is to establish ourselves as a leading voice in Latin America for independent journalism and activism, connecting young people, collectives, and journalists, and strengthening an informed, conscious, and organized citizenry. Ultimately, our goal is to build a national community with a tangible impact on policies, narratives, and projects with an environmental perspective, contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals 16 and 17.
